In Lovr, you share personal things about your love life. This page explains, without jargon, what we collect, why, who it’s shared with, and what you can do about it at any time.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The Lovr app is published by HyperAddict LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of [STATE], USA, with its registered office at [ADDRESS]. It decides how your data is used, which makes it the data controller.
For people in the European Union, our representative under the GDPR is [NAME AND ADDRESS OF EU REPRESENTATIVE].
2. What we collect
- Your account: your email address, or the identifier provided by Apple or Google if you sign in with them.
- Your assessment: your answers, your gender and age range, and the profile they produce.
- What you write in the app: your exercises, the missions you complete and your conversations with the AI coach.
- Your subscription: whether it’s active, and until when. Payment goes through Apple or Google: we never see your card details.
- Notifications: a technical identifier for your phone, only if you accept reminders.
We never ask for photos, access to your contacts or your location. The app contains no advertising tools.
3. Why we use it
- To run your account and your path, and to save your progress.
- To tailor the program to your profile.
- To let the AI coach reply with your profile and what you’ve written in mind.
- To manage your subscription and free trial.
- To send you reminders, if you’ve accepted them.
What you write may concern your love life. This information is processed only with your explicit consent, which you give when you create your account and can withdraw at any time by deleting your account. We never sell your data.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the providers the app couldn’t work without, and only what each of them needs:
- Supabase: hosts your account and data (servers in the European Union, in Ireland).
- Anthropic (Claude model): receives your messages to the coach and your profile to generate its replies.
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google: subscription and payment management.
- Expo: sends notifications.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers are covered by recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete it, your data is erased within [30] days, except anything the law requires us to keep longer.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, download, object to the use of, or erase your data at any time. Most of this can be done right in the app: Profile › My data to export it or delete your account. You can also do it from the website, without the app.
If you believe your rights aren’t being respected, you can contact the data protection authority in your country, such as the CNIL in France.
7. Adults only
Lovr is for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we delete it.
8. Contact us
For any question about your data: contact@lovrapp.com. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
If this policy changes significantly, we’ll let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
